da, i think it's better to be more direct than figurative when referring to body parts, though to a point - for me a good rule of thumb is how direct of a word i can use while still finding it, well, sexy. (e.g. "clit" will never take me out of a scene, but "penis" usually does.) of course this will vary with your level of personal comfort, but i think if something works for you then it should work for the reader.
