they chose all the younger members + han geng, ofc. eunhyuk, although the same age as donghae and siwon, was already in h and t, and had a lot of shows to promote, unlike bad-at-variety m members. i guess it was just preplanning for army enlistment, so that even if all the older members went to the army at the same time, there'd still be m promoting
