yes, i was talking about longevity and relevance

a group like suju can stay together for however many years but they'll never be relevant which is why they can't be one of the greats

what's with this fandom's obsession with relevance. who gets to decide who's officially relevant.

you're new if you need to ask why people care about relevance

super junior isn't exactly NOT relevant though. they are nowhere big bang and snsd's popularity with the general public but it's not like they are nobodies like intl fandom seems to project. if that was the case, they would've disappeared long ago like csjh, zhang liyin, etc.

+1 people know them, even if only their fans like them. and their fans aren't such a small group.

exactly elfs are a quite large club and people always seem to write them off because they aren't only from korea but lol i don't get this logic because isn't that a good thing that their fanbase is widespread? people act like they have no fans at all in korea and that it's sad they have fans from worldwide. imo, worldwide fanbase > one country

i suppose it's more important for koreans to have korean fans that can support them in korea, even thought ambitious groups want to be able to throw big concerts around asia and america.

+1 the groups itself might not be widely known but certain members like eetuek have worked really hard to make a name for themselves in the industry

ok then they don't have positive relevance. they do have tons of negative relevance. meaning, they have more antis than fans and that's how they're relevant to koreans.

yea but negative and positive relevance is the same thing which equates to them being famous either way...even if it's not a good thing which super junior seems to be well aware of so...

nayrt but idt anybody thinks they're nobodies. the have a huge fandom and that's asia-wide.

but they're not relevant at all to the public (and i don't mean in terms of public activities), which is not surprising since it's really difficult to do for kpop groups in general and boy groups in particular.
