snsd is my bias group, so this isn't coming from a malicious place, but i knew that this was going to happen, and as soon as i heard the teasers for "i got a boy," let alone the full song, i knew that it was going to get mixed reviews at best from both the korean and international fandoms.
sm is a shitshow and there's a lot to criticize for the way that they manage every single one of their groups/artists, and they've lost traction with snsd by waiting so long for them to come back and then giving them such a disjointed song just because the producer of the song is an sm employee. snsd are going to go the way of wonder girls because sm is too busy focusing on individual promotions and japanese promotions, and it's sad, because snsd used to be on top -- hell, they're still on top, but they won't remain there for very long if sm keeps fucking up so badly.
