i'm disappointed in the characterization as well since i thought she did a really good job of it in the tasty fic. she'd mentioned in the foreward that it's her first time writing an au and i think that comes across? like she's focusing a bit too hard on making the setting believable at the cost of the characters.
it does come across, but even still, i think it's her first time writing this group. i don't think she really knows them very well at all, except the faces of zico and yukwon and maybe a few traits that have become fandom "canon" i think that's the most off-putting part of the fic for me and why i probably will not continue reading it. i'd rather them read like block b and not like original characters.
