so my mom has a short temper and when she's angry, she says really mean things and never apologizes for them afterward

earlier i told her she makes harsh comments that hurt, and then she lectured my little sister and me for a half hour (and she digressed a lot and kind of made fun of how we felt)

and whaddya know, she got angry and said really mean stuff u_u

i'm not hurt by the stuff she said, as i'm used to it. i guess i'm really sad that she'll never listen to nor understand me. i'll get over this in like 2.5 seconds; i just wanted to get this off my chest u_u

your mom is my mom, except minus the little sister (i have a little brother who constantly fucks up and never gets hounded for it). ;; stay safe and sane, anon, and realize that her anger isn't a reflection on you, it's her own issues that she needs to work through and you don't deserve to bear the brunt of it.

yeah ik, it's just that i've repeatedly tried to tell her that she shouldn't take her anger and stress out on us, but it just never works :/
