i kind of wish we were a little more like the memes a couple of years ago. i mean, there was talk about all kinds of kpop and even non-kpop stuff but the "fic" in the name was still justified.

tbh tho i think the whole bnf culture plays a part in this as well. i mean we get loads of au/fic ideas that anons want to be written but you will automatically see the obligatory "bnf-unnir" should write this, and i think this, in turn, puts off other anons from attempting it bc they think they won't be good enough/give the idea justice.

i mean idk if this happens to anyone else but i do personally feel this.
