he owned that stage. i need these girls covering boys/boys covering girls stages but it's not going to happen bc there are lots of idols and they'll barely have their own stage
which idols (or other k celebs) do you think are most likely to end up in a mental institution, and why? (i'm planning to write a mental institution au and i need some inspiration ;;)
just stepping in to say i despise all and any disability AUs because using a disability as a plot device is just low. you can continue with your regularly scheduled programming now.
+2354798742 unless it's done tastefully in attempt to actually explore whatever disability it is at full length/to its logical conclusions, which is almost never the case
i don't really want to have a deeper discussion about this rn but i just thought i'd point out that writers don't always use it as some cheap plot device.
op and why do you think so? i'm a psychology major and it really interests me and i would really try to write something lighthearted.. i guess it wouldn't be as appreciated as i hoped. :(
obviously it's not the case because normally the mentality is "xyz has this disability but they're still so lovable" which is just disgusting. in fanfiction at least, that is nearly always the case and i just don't see the appeal of treating serious issues as a way to get your otp together. like fucking write a decent story and don't try to pity" drive your plot and if you can't, don't write period.
i'm sorry op, but i think this is a somewhat sensitive issue tbh. it's not a stretch though to say that several of them probably have eating disorders, depression and related, but you'd have to be really, really careful about dealing with it, and not just as a plot device
just to be clear, i meant in kpop but of course, i can only speak for the ones in my fandom and some have been very personally upsetting. if you've come across any that have treated the subject well, i'd be glad if you would share it with me, definitely.
