idk but once i considered writing about chenchen falling head over heels in love with his married translator noona, but then anons told me she made an effort to stay out of the spotlight and i thought i'd felt bad about writing it.

i think it would be practically writing ocs, though, bc basically we don't know much about them? unless you're really into korean fandom and can find their names or basic facts about them that i'm sure koran fans have dug up.

i would actually be really uncomfortable if it wasnt ocs tbh :/ i mean idols have a general expectation of fic about them being written, but imo it's unfair to get the offstage/behind the scenes people, so to speak, involved

....i would have loved a chen/translator fic but i understand entirely why it's a no go :(

i totally agree. the thing is, people are kind of weary about writing/reading ocs, ig bc of prejudices or bc how quickly it can devolve into self-insert fic. so that might explain the lack of idol/coordi fic, even with the latter as ocs.
