amber, as established, is a very goofy and outgoing kid. and about 3/4 of miss a are goofy and outgoing (well, suzy is shy at first but once you get to know her she is an adorable dork). so obviously they mesh.
amber/min: similar to amber seeking out krystal because of the familiarity aspect, i think she sought out min; hell, min was from the same area as amber so i'm sure those two have lots to reminisce about. they just get each other - they aren't afraid to make fools of themselves and they clearly have a lot in common. it's hard for me to delve deep into their relationship when i don't think there's much to delve into - they just have chemistry; people with such common backgrounds that work. also, i think amber might be drawn to min the same way she is to krystal in that min is also very confident and sure of herself, something that amber is not. min shares more common characteristics with krystal than is often noted.
amber/jia: i always considered jia to be somewhat boyish, a sort of "one-of-the-boys" character for lack of better word, which is kind of what amber is, too, at times. jia is in no way quieter than min, though i daresay she's a little less...overbearing? in jia and min's relationship, jia is the one that grounds min when she starts acting a little too crazy (there's a couple of instances of her giving min this "ummm" look when she was doing her crazy dances on variety shows). so i thinks he helps amber do the same thing. just amber and min might get out of control, but jia helps keep them from floating into outerspace. that's not to say that jia isn't outgoing, goofy or hilarious - she is, just a completely different brand than min, or amber. so amber and her, obviously got to know each other through min, but they also, well, 'work.' they both play basketball and like to dance, i think those common interests drew them together, and eventually they developed this sort of brotherly relationship. like, y'know, i could see her ruffling amber's hair or s/t, lol. i think amber likes hanging out with someone who is very similar to her, just all the common interests, goofing off, etc. honestly i know the least about these two, haha.
amber/suzy - amber and suzy met on invincible youth, though they knew each other before, i'm sure. suzy is a shy, somewhat awkward girl, despite what people may think; she's a lot less 'bitchy' or w/e people throw at her (i used to hear talentless and a worthless, which is the farthest from the truth, the girl is precious and amazing singer for her age, she just needs to work on her dancing, imo, and i'm certain she didn't choose to be the face of miss a). regardless, on invincible youth these two were attached at the hip (with amber's other hip latched onto woori, bora or whoever else, that girl was popular) and amber seemed to effortlessly bring out suzy's real personality without trying - especially when the cameras were off them and you could still see these two hanging out in the background. i think amber admires suzy's dedication (Bc whatever people say, suzy is dedicated to her choice to become a singer), and the way she carries herself as well. suzy has a very mature air, but she lets it down around amber.
amber/fei - honestly, i haven't seen these two interact much. fei kind of reminds me of victoria, however - just both being extremely strong, dedicated women, though victoria is much different than fei, i consider them both natural born leaders who expect a lot of themselves. i've heard fei can be...not uptight, but very...i don't quite know how to put it, just that she expects a lot of herself and isn't easy to give herself a break, which can be off-putting when she's around people she doesn't know and therefore doesn't act comfortable around. it's just a matter of catching her off guard, i think, that helps one get to know her; she's always very busy trying to give her best. she's delicate and gentle and kind but she's still dedicated. i remember she and suzy were very close early on and pre-debut, and i think they're relationship showcases fei's personality best. wow ok fei meta. /anyway,/ amber definitely has a way of loosening people up, so i guess seeing amber hang around her bandmates all the time, fei was bound to warm up to her, especially given that amber isn't all that different from the girls that she rooms with. i'm pretty sure fei helped with amber's makeover, lol, so i think she's pretty close with the gang, just she's not typically the type to be caught taking goofy selcas - she's probably the one holding the camera for them, you know?
